1. Define a vision

• 2nd Habit of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Begin with the End in Mind
• Describe what an ideal business will be for you.
• You will know what you should focus on and what you should stay away from, i.e. when opportunities come, you will be able to assess better what compliment your vision or what distract you from achieving your vision.
• You need to build a business around your strengths, which is not to be confused with passions. You may or may not have strengh in your passions. If you do, it’s perfect, but if you do not, you should steer clear or elase you will find yourself making no money in something you like.
• Write down your vision in a document, print it out, and reflect on it regularly.

2. Find a role model

• Find a person who has already successful and you want to be most like. That person is your role model
• Read everything ever published by your role model.
• Study your role model’s business and personal life (of what had been made publilc).
• Become their customer.
• Attend public events where they will be attending as well either as a speaker or a participant.
• Learn their successful business model and base your business on it.

3. Select an area to focus on

• There are may ways to money via Internet: AdSense and content sites, AdWords, affiliate marekting, eBay, niche marketing, private label rights, membership sites, list building, software, …
• If you try to make money from multiple ways all at the same time, you may end up having none.
• Select a way, learn it, master it, apply it, and stick to it until you’re successful.

4. Become great at that one thing

• Become a specialist in the area that you have chosen while having an overall understanding of Internet marketing.
