Passive Cashflow Secrets
I have some important information on passive cashflow to share with you and also introduce you to a new product that has truly inspired me.
What really is passive cashflow? Well, to me it’s money that comes in without actually doing anything. If you can make money with no effort then you are earning passive income.
One good example would be making sales commissions for products that have recurring billing such as membership subscriptions. One sale equals many months of commissions with the right affiliate products that offers members great value. That’s what you call passive cashflow. One sale many recurring commissions.
Another good example of passive income is when you build a real and white hat content website and it has staying power. If you do it right and if your websites do not get banned — you should have income coming in for a long time with little or no further work required. This is best achieved when you have many websites of different natures getting free search engine traffic and selling affiliate products or advertising (such as AdSense). Keep building them… some will hit it big and make money for a long time!
Passive cashflow is the best way to develop multiple streams of income to achieve wealth and I am always in search of new ideas. You can visualize how exciting I was when I found out that Neil Shearing released an in-depth course covering this subject called “Passive Cashflow Secrets“.
Neil is a highly successful Internet marketer and has been going strong for many years. I respect him and admire how he has developed such a loyal following of subscribers and customers.
Passive Cashflow Secrets lays it all out on the table and tells us actually how Neil has accumulated his vast personal wealth and makes so much money he can be a “lazy man” and play video games and spend most of his time with his family, rather than exhaust himself. His secret is finding and creating many streams of passive income.
And Neil has many great examples! His videos are truly inspiring! Oddly enough one of his success stories involves developing a “self-growing” website using PLR articles. I’ll leave it to him to reveal the details on how he develops a website like this, but will say that he use plain old PLR articles. He does not even tweak or change the articles and has been earning good Adsense income on auto-pilot. His passive website recently earned $82.95 in one day and is on auto-pilot.
Well I could go on and on about Neil and how great his “Passive Cashflow Secrets” is, but I think I’ll let you go discover his site for yourself so you can see in his own words how he makes a fortune with “passive income”. The videos are very helpful and in plain English that anyone can understand. I believe you’ll find great value in Neil’s video!
Nitty Gritty Marketing Video
Lately, there’s been some talk about this guy who’s made over $3 million dollars in the past few years teaching people how to play piano by ear (…out of all things).
Normally I ignore earning claims and screenshots because I know how easy it is for people to take their best months and make you think they’re making that regularly.
Well, apparently this guy, Jermaine Griggs, is different. He shows this video of his sales from 2002-2007. You actually see him go from making $2000 to months of $112,000+… but I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that he makes this much as a piano teacher (and 80% of his products are focused around gospel music at that).
Urghhhh, I’m a little envious to say the least.
But this video is more than just 4 minutes of bragging. I got several things from it:
- That everyone starts somewhere. Prior to this video (2000-2002), as you’ll soon see, he talks about struggling to make $300. $500 was a good month.
- That it is possible to double and triple sales from one month to the next. In 2003, the video clearly shows him going from making around $15,000 to $40,000 the next month. This isn’t the only time this happens.
- That it’s possible to grow sales drastically year after year. His video points out times when he “never made less than $10,000/month again” and when he “never made less than $20,000/month again” and so on… all the way up to $50,000+. Yes, we all have ups and downs but wouldn’t you like to proclaim that you’ll never make less than a certain amount again?
- That it doesn’t matter how old you are or where you’ve come from. He was 17-years old when he started and came from very humble beginnings (more on this later).
So watch the video for yourself. He’ll be launching something very special on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 and trust me when I say, it will be the talk of the season.
Amazon Referral Fees
Amazon associates earn referral fees when visitors follow links from their sites to Amazon.com and make a purchase. These links can be to the Amazon.com home page, individual products, pages of search results, or any other page at Amazon.com. Associates can also place product search boxes on their sites. Note that referral fees are calculated on the sale price, not the list price, of each qualifying item.
Associates earn referral fees according to two fee structure options offered by Amazon.com, as listed below.
- Option 1: Classic Fee Structure
- Option 2. Performance Fee Structure
Associates are automatically enrolled in the Performance Fee Structure.
Classic Fee Structure is Amazon.com’s fixed-referral-rate plan. Associates earn a 4% referral fee on items offered by Amazon or by third parties.
The Performance Fee Structure plan allows associates to earn higher referral fees as they increase the number of shipped items generated through their links. They earn a referral rate from 4% to 10% on items shipped by Amazon or third-party sellers in various categories.
In either plan, Amazon.com imposes referral fee caps on the following two products:
- Personal computers (both desktops and laptops) have referral fees capped at $25.
- Unbox video downloads have referral fees capped at $1.50 per item.
No other product lines have their referral fees capped.
AdWords Ad Variations Tips
Below are some tips when working with AdWords Ad Variations.
I learned that split testing AdWords ad copy is very important. All this while, in order to keep ad performance data such as % Served, Clicks, Impression, CTR, Cost, Conversion Rate, and Cost per Conversion, I have been pausing ad variations instead of deleting them.
There’s nothing wrong with the approach. Just that as I keep on creating new ad copy to replace poor performance ad, the number of ads appear under Ad Variations keep on growing and it make searching for active ad variations rather difficult some times.
Until today only I realized AdWords actually has an option called “Include deleted items” which allows us to show those ad variations that has been deleted. Take note though that a paused ad variation could be resumed and the ad performance data such as such as % Served, Clicks, Impression, CTR, Cost, Conversion Rate, and Cost per Conversion would continue. However, a deleted ad variation could not be resume.
Whether to pause or delete an ad is very much a personal preference but sometimes it also depends on your need or requirement.
Tips for Searching Amazon for Products
- On the Search dropdown list, the default category is Amazon.com.
- Change the default category to your desired category, e.g. sports.
- If your desired category, e.g. sports, is not listed then click on See All 41 Product Categories tab.
- A page listing all the product categories will be shown. Search for and click on your desired category, e.g. Sports & Outdoors.
- Your chosen product category and its sub-categories will be listed in the Search dropdown list.
- Key in the search phrase, e.g basketball, and press Enter or click on Go button.
- Search results will be listed in the default sorting order of Relevance, i.e. products most relevant to the search terms you keyed in.
- You may change to other sorting order such as Bestselling, New Arrivals, and On Sale.
Note: If the Search dropdown list was left was Amazon.com, then the sorting order of the search results listed could not be changed. You have to change to a specific product category in order to have the option to sort.

Web Traffic FAQ
1. What are the top 3 “organic” search engines on the ‘Net?
a) Google
b) Yahoo Search
c) MSN/Live Search
2. What are the top 2 “pay-per-click” (PPC) search programs on the ‘Net?
a) Google AdWords
b) Yahoo! Search Marketing
3. What’s the difference between “organic” search and “paid” search?
- “Organic” search (aka natural search) will list the “best” / most relevant pages found for searcher’s keywords, as determined by the search engine being searched. Generally, inclusion and/or position on the search results cannot be bought, but could be influenced using search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
- “Paid” search allows a marketer to pay to have his/her ad shown in response to the keywords entered by searchers. Generally, the higher a marketer is willing to pay, the higher position his/her ad will be shown.
4. What’s the difference between Google AdWords and Google AdSense?
- Google AdWords is Google’s per-per-click program. It allows marketers to pay to have their ad shown in response to keywords entered by searchers. The ad would be shown on Google search results and optionally on Google’s search network and content network.
- Google AdSense is a Google’s program for content publishers. Content publishers are being rewarded to put AdSense links on their webiste. Google determines the relevant AdWords ads to show on content publishers’ webiste based on the content of a particular web page. Content publishers get paid whenever a visitor clicks on a Google ad.
5. What’s a “keyword” and why is it important for search marketing?
A keyword is an actual search term that online visitors use at various search engines, to search for information, products, or services.
It is important for search marketing because it could tells whether a visitor is just browsing (e.g. digital camera), comparing (e.g. Canon digital camera review), or is ready to buy (e.g. Canon IXUS 800). By focusing on the so-called “buying” keywords, a marketing campaign has a higher chance to succeed.
6. The search engines place a lot of importance on the links that point to your site. What’s more important — the quality of links pointing to your site or the quantity?
The quality of links pointing to my site is more important than the quantity. In the old days, the more links, the better. But now the search engines place huge importance on the quality of links, i.e. where those links are coming from.
7. Which of the following is the most effective search marketing strategy?
a) Participating in a “link exchange” with other web site owners (aka “reciprocal links”)
b) Submitting articles to the ‘Net’s top directories, with links in the articles pointing back to your site
c) Paying for links on “link farm” pages that have links pointing to many different pages on the ‘Net .
Out of the 3 strategies above, the 2nd strategy (articles submission to top directories) is the most effective one. One-way relevant inbound links are the best.
Here’s the reason: the ‘Net’s top directories are all considered to be important, authoritative sites by the search engines. They all have very high PageRank scores (e.g., Open Directory = 8, Yahoo Directory = 8.)
Furthermore, the search engines have started to ignore reciprical links — they see them as cancelling each other out. Therefore requesting another party to link to your site in exchange for you linking to theirs is no longer an effective strategy!
Last but not least… “link farms” have long been on the search engines’ hate list. Whatever you do, don’t buy links on “link farms” because the search engines will actually penalize you for doing so.

Valuable and Useful Information to Boost your Internet Marketing Career
The impact of the Internet on the perceived value of information is just as huge as anybody would ever think. Undoubtedly, Internet changed the way people learn and search for useful information. Before the arrival of the Internet culture, individuals who are looking for some valuable and useful information would be congregating themselves in classrooms, public libraries, bookstores, and magazine stands because these are the places where such information could be found.
However, it’s been about ten years since the Internet became accessible to the public and the difference it made has been gigantic.
The impact is drastic enough that the Internet changed the typical procedure of searching for information that has existed since the civilization era. If you want to learn the life of Florence Nightingale, Christopher Columbus, or Albert Einstein, you do not need to take a class, read a book, or purchase newspapers everyday. You can Yahoo or Google these personalities, and if you are savvy enough, you will be able to find a website that is dedicated to the study of these personalities.
Through the Internet, such valuable and useful information is readily accessible. In addition, retrieval of information is free. You do not have to suffer purchasing Da Vinci Code for several dollars cheaper than what you would have to pay in a brick and mortar bookstore. The search and retrieval of the manuscript of the book is instantaneous (in short, instant!), no wasting of time, and definitely there is no need to spend for transportation.
In other words, searching and retrieving information on the Internet is cost-free, except the purchase of your personal computer (if you do not have any) and the Internet connection fee.
Almost every kind of information could be found on the Internet, historical accounts, answers to personal problems, and information about business opportunities. In other words, every online-based business opportunity related information can be accessed through the Internet.
Nothing more, nothing else. Why purchase marketing strategy books or business newspapers if all information that you need is stored on the Internet and can be read for free.
However, unlike other information on the Internet, information related to Internet marketing are not entirely for free. In fact, there are marketing gurus who sell such information to Internet marketing neophytes.
The basics of success on Internet marketing starts with learning the basics of this lucrative industry. Such basics could be learned through various Internet marketing-related information scattered over the Web. If you want to acquire information that is proven to be useful for your online business, definitely you will purchase such information from different Internet marketing gurus.
To get the real worth of your money, you can look for the following categories of valuable and useful information for your online business outlined below:
- The content of the information package must be controlled and distributed by licensed and well-known personalities on Internet marketing. Verify the individual behind the personality—check if he is really a marketing genius or not. With so many ‘bogus gurus’ out there, there is a need to check on your information resources first before handing out money.
- Such information must be on its updated status. What is the use of information gathered in 1990 on a 2006 market? Ask for some sample excerpts or initial information that you can see for yourself if it is updated or not.
- Look for the “money back guarantee†condition of paid information. If you are not satisfied by the results or the results are not what you expect, you can have your money back. There are many experienced Internet marketers who are willing to give your money back if you are not satisfied with the information you have acquired.
If you cannot afford to purchase premium information sold by different Internet marketers over the Web, you can still look for free information. You may visit different article directories over the Internet that publishes hundreds to thousands of articles related to Internet marketing.
Some of these articles are written by the Internet marketing gurus themselves, thus you are assured that the information is valuable and can be applied to your online business. There are also business sites wherein they give away free information guides that you can use for your Internet marketing career. Just be resourceful and creative enough to locate this free yet useful information.
The Internet is the information superhighway—whether free or paid information, make sure that these will help you learn the ideas and basic strategies to make your Internet marketing career a successful one.
