I recently attended a 2-day Internet Marketing Bootcamp on May 5 and 6. I learned about the following topics.
1. Market Research
- How to locate and research your target market to find out whether there is a demand for your product or service.Â
- How to locate a starving market who’s willing and ready to buy.
- How to perform proper keyword research to identify market demand as well as your true competition.
2. Website Creation Basics
- How to modify a website template using a web designing software called Nvu.
- How to upload web pages and graphics to server using a FTP software called FileZilla.
3. Traffic Generation
- How to optimize a web page for search segine positioning by placing keywords at a few important location.
- How to create a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaign in Google AdWords.
4. Website Conversion
- How to identify irresistible online sale letters that’ll sell your products like crazy by knowing the various elements that make up a convincing sales letter.
- How to get your prospects to opt-in to receive your newsletter or special offer.
5. Affiliate Programs & Joint VenturesÂ
- How to locate potential online joint venture partners and persuade them to work with you.
6. Automation & Tracking
- How to effectively use e-mail follow-up autoresponder systems to put your online business on ‘auto-pilot’.
Unfortunately, there were a few topics that were supposed to be covered, as stated in the bootcamp website, were actually not being covered during the training.
- How to properly manage a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaign in Google AdWords.
- How to select & set-up a website analytics system to track and test all your online efforts so you don’t waste your time and money on ineffective campaigns.
