In the world of Internet marketing, there’s a new product that is launched every week (maybe even every day). I know you know about it because you get the e-mails. I’m not saying that all or even any of these products are bad.

Most are probably great in their own light. But, here’s one thing that really bothers me about all these products.

So, the goal of the product is to teach “us” how to make money, right? Yet, they sell the products based on how much that “guru” is earning?

Again, I’m not saying that the guru doesn’t make that much money, I’m sure he/she does. However, how does that help “me?”

Just because someone is good at making money does not mean they’re good at teaching us how to do it. I’m always shocked at how none of them talk about what their “students” make.

Crappy testimonials…

To top it off, a lot of testimonials are general and just say “Oh yea, this course is great…” and most of time the testimonials are just from their “buddies” – I think these hardly carry any value!

How about sharing the “exact” amount that the students are now making 100% thanks to the course that they’re trying to sell us?

Anyways, that was my rant. The reason I thought about it was because, yes, there is yet another course being “re” launched soon. Trust me, if you haven’t heard about it you will.

But I can honestly say, it’s refreshing to see that this one is different.

I was really impressed with what I’m seeing so far. They’re actually proving to us that this course works!

The course is called PPC Classroom and it’s being released by Anik Singal and Amit Mehta (Amit is the author). They released this course back in October of 2008 and it was a blockbuster.

Rumor has it that they had over 7,000 students come into the system and I’ve never (even once) seen a bad review anywhere (even on Warrior forum) about the course.

Well, it turns out that this course actually works! Just in the last 3 months…

Students have quit their day jobs…

A student actually saved himself from getting EVICTED

Students went from making $30 a day to $3,000 a DAY…

All in all, they’re saying that their students now earn, $4,234,789/Year. Very impressive.

I know Anik and Amit well enough to know that they would not lie. Also, they have pictures, names right on their site.

Finally, actual proof.

Well, I know they’re getting ready to re-open the classroom on February 24 th . But, they keep saying there is a BIG surprise coming out on the 23 rd (not sure what that is).

Anyways, I just finished reading an excellent report they have released for free, definitely worth reading – it really proves that they know what they’re doing.

Click here to download the report…

Jeremy Palmer has launched a new project aimed at new affiliates who are struggling to become profitable.

Background

Jeremy got into affiliate marketing in late 2003. As a new affiliate he learned the ropes very quickly, and started making money shortly after putting a few affiliate links on one of his sites. Back then it was relatively easy to get a top search listing, click costs were low, and the competition wasn’t very savvy. Anybody with a decent looking site and a little traffic could have made money.

Fast forward 5 years to 2008 and the affiliate landscape is completely different. It can take months (sometimes years) to get a top 10 listing in Google, click costs have sky-rocketed, and the competition is a lot smarter. Creating a successful affiliate business in this climate is a lot harder than it was five years ago.

The Lie

Unfortunately, a lot of the people selling e-books and info products would have you believe that making money online is easy.

While it’s possible to make a substantial income as an affiliate, it’s unrealistic to think you can go from $0 to six-figure-success in minutes a day or from buying some automated money-making system.

The Truth

Based on Jeremy’s experience and observations, only a small percentage (less than 10%) of new affiliates ever go on to make any money. Even fewer go on to quit their jobs or become super affiliates.

There are a number of reasons affiliates don’t make it. Here are few of the most common:

Unrealistic expectations

Too much time learning and not enough time doing – Most are anxious to learn, but few actually create and execute a well thought out plan.

Failure to research markets and understand customers

Lack of technical skills – You don’t have to be a graphic designer or have a degree in computer science, but a basic understanding of how to build and manage websites goes a long way.

There’s no shortage of books, blogs, or forums to help you get started in this business. These learning materials serve as a great guide and reference, but without implementation they’re not very useful.

The Best Way to Learn

In order to become proficient in any skill you must first learn, then do, and repeat. This cycle of continuous improvement is what makes you successful.

What is the Black Ink Project?

In accounting, the term black ink (or operating in the black) is used to refer to a company that is profitable. On the flip side, when a company loses money they’re said to be operating in the red.

The goal of the Black Ink Project is to show affiliates how to bridge the gap between learning and becoming profitable.

The Black Ink Project will help you get over the hump by focusing on the areas where most affiliates fail. The project will help you:

Set realistic goals, based on your time and budget.

Develop and launch a campaign from start to finish. At the end of the course, you’ll have a complete action plan and checklist you can use for future sites.

Research prospective opportunities. Learn out how to avoid potential pitfalls and find the right niche.

Learn the software, scripts and tools that will help you create and manage your affiliate site.

What’s Next

The Black Ink Project will be delivered throughout the course of two months. Each lesson builds on the next, and it’s recommended that you follow the same timeline when possible.

Most of the sessions will be recorded, and made available on the site shortly after they’re delivered. Jeremy will also be doing some live streams with Q&A sessions throughout the course.

What’s the Price?

Free. Yes, you read that right; it’s not a smudge on your screen. Jeremy decided to kick off the new site by raising the free bar to new heights.

Who Is This Training For?

This training is aimed at new affiliates who have yet to earn a profit or are struggling to earn consistent profits.

Prerequisite: You must read Jeremy free e-book before joining this class. If you don’t have a grasp on the basics you won’t get the most out of this project.

Where Can I Sign Up?

You can now sign up for The Black Ink Project.

Neil Shearing doesn’t just take other people’s word for things. He does his own marketing experiments to see what really works. He has just discovered a way to get a brand new website:

Hit by multiple search engine spiders on its first day.

Receive traffic from Google on its third day.

Earn cash from an affiliate sale on its 10th day.

Neil did this without creating a product, without spending a cent on advertising, without creating an email list, and without any promotion from any of his existing lists or websites.

The website was launched on January 30. In February, it generated $3,851 in affiliate sales.

Furthermore, Neil can build websites like this as fast as less than an hour. Building one of these websites is simple using a carefully chose datafeed and a script that Neil’s programmers created for him.

Neil has broken a few gurus’ rules here:

Duplicate content rule doesn’t seem to apply to this site.

The “you need lots of backlinks” rule doesn’t seem to matter much here as Neil had only one backlink.

The so-called sandbox which new websites are supposed to go into doesn’t exist as far as this site is concerned.

How long will this technique work? I’m not sure. My guess is that Neil’s technique will be getting more and more popular and, as we all know, once many people start using a marketing technique it often becomes less effective. So you’ll eventually need to get more backlinks to these websites and inevitably do things to make them more unique.

Bottom line, those who move fast will receive the most benefits… jump on this while it’s fresh.

Amazon associates earn referral fees when visitors follow links from their sites to Amazon.com and make a purchase. These links can be to the Amazon.com home page, individual products, pages of search results, or any other page at Amazon.com. Associates can also place product search boxes on their sites. Note that referral fees are calculated on the sale price, not the list price, of each qualifying item.

Associates earn referral fees according to two fee structure options offered by Amazon.com, as listed below.

Option 1: Classic Fee Structure

Option 2. Performance Fee Structure

Associates are automatically enrolled in the Performance Fee Structure.

Classic Fee Structure is Amazon.com’s fixed-referral-rate plan. Associates earn a 4% referral fee on items offered by Amazon or by third parties.

The Performance Fee Structure plan allows associates to earn higher referral fees as they increase the number of shipped items generated through their links. They earn a referral rate from 4% to 10% on items shipped by Amazon or third-party sellers in various categories.

In either plan, Amazon.com imposes referral fee caps on the following two products:

Personal computers (both desktops and laptops) have referral fees capped at $25.

Unbox video downloads have referral fees capped at $1.50 per item.

No other product lines have their referral fees capped.

Affiliate programs are online, but not all of the promotion of your affiliate links has to be online. There are a number of ways that you can promote your affiliate links offline — one way is to advertise them on a business card.

You just need to create a business card that is geared towards a particular affiliate program, and use the business card to promote it.

You may use the title of ‘associate’ or ‘partner’ with the company, which is true, and for the URL, create a redirect link from your domain for a folder in the name of the company you are promoting.

For example, I’m promoting an e-course called EZY Income System (targeted at Internet marketing newbies), therefore I have created a subfolder called “ezyis” beneath the “recommends” folder of my domain. So I advertised http://www.waihon.com/recommends/ezyis on the business card.

In order to create a cloaked affiliate link to EZY Income System. I launched my favorite affiliate marketer software and selected the Clean URL tool provided in the software. In less than 2 minutes, the software has helped me to generate a cloaked affiliate link page (I named it index.html). I uploaded the generated page to the “pis” subfolder that was created earlier. Now when potential customers point their web browser to http://www.waihon.com/recommends/ezyis, they will be redirected to the main page of EZY Income System. However my affiliate link has already been captured in their PC.

As an affiliate marketer you probably understand the value of two-tier and multi-tier affiliate programs — especially those with the potential of monthly residual income.

For these types of programs, you should promote both the products as well as the corresponding affiliate programs. If your visitors turn out to be a super affiliate, there’s more residual income in the bank for you.

Let’s say that you’re promoting a product that offers a great multi-tier affiliate program, but that the affiliate program requires you to use a different URL to promote the product and another one to promote the program.

Now how do you ensure that another affiliate marketer who comes across it doesn’t bypass your ID and sign up for it without giving you credit. Or that they leave your website, read a review on another website and signup under that person?

Don’t worry, you will discover a way to overcome this issue.

myAffiliateAssistant has a tool called Invisible Link II. This tool will generate a JavaScript with two of your affiliate links in it, for the product and the affiliate program respectively. It will also embed the JavaScript into an existing web page (in HTML format) of your choice. You may then publish this web page to your website and start promoting it.

When a prospective customer visits the web page, both the affiliate links that you specified will be visited as well (in the background). If the prospect later on visits the product’s website and purchases something, you will get your commission as if the visitor had clicked on your affiliate link directly. And if the prospect turns out to be a super affiliate and sign up the affiliate program, that’s more residual income in the bank for you.

Excellent Affiliate Product + Google AdWords = Big Profits

You should seriously consider using Google AdWrods — one of the most effective and powerful tools of generating targeted traffic.

But there’s one problem with Google AdWords. Anyone who has used Google AdWords before should know that Google does not allow you to use a web page with pop-ups as your destinations page. It means that you can’t send your prospects directly to a product sales page if it uses pop-ups (and most sales page does), regardless how well its conversion rate is.

However, this problem should not stop you from using this powerful traffic-generating tool. You should find a creative way to overcome this problem.

myAffiliateAssistant has a tool called Invisible Link II. Given a web page (in HTML format) without any pop-ups, this tool will generate a JavaScript with your encrypted affiliate link in it. It then embeds this JavaScript into the web page. For best results, in your web page, you should include a link to the sales page for the product you are promoting. You may then publish this web page to your website and start promoting it via Google AdWords by setting its URL as the destination URL in AdWords ad.

Why is this great news for affiliate marketers?

Because it allows you to tag your visitor’s computer with your affiliate ID as soon as they click through your AdWords ad.

Do you write excellent reviews of products but aren’t getting too many people to click on your affiliate links? That’s not surprising because people are much less likely to click on an affiliate link than on a direct link to a sales page.

Instead of using your affiliate link, you can disguise your web page as an “unbiased” review of the product by using direct link to the product’s sales page instead of a visible affiliate link. And since your product review seems unbiased, your visitor will be less guarded, and more likely to buy.

myAffiliateAssistant has a tool called Invisible Link II. Given a well-written product review page (in HTML format), this tool will generate a JavaScript with your encrypted affiliate link in it. It then embeds this JavaScript into the product review page. You may then publish this review page to your website and start promoting it.

When a prospective customer visits the product review page, the affiliate link that you specified will be visited as well (in the background). If the prospect later on visits the product’s website and purchases something, you will get your commission as if the visitor had clicked on your affiliate link directly.

After your prospective customers have finished reviewing your first two products, you should use this closing opportunity to invite them into your sales funnel for later backend sales.

There are quite a number of websites that sell multiple products but you as an affiliate have no choice other than to send your prospective customer to just one page on the website via your affiliate link.

Most visitors get frustrated being redirected to a page with multiple products on it and never take the effort to find the particular product you referred. Or else they get distracted, start browsing here and there and forget which product they came to check out. So they might end up leaving the page without buying anything and you’ve lost that commission you should have netted.

However, if you could focus your promotion campaign via a link to a particular product page then your focused promotion efforts are sure to generate more sales.

myAffiliateAssistant has a tool called Targeted Product Page. This tool will generate a web page (in HTML format) that will redirect your prospective customers to a designated product page of the merchant who sells multiple products. Your affiliate link is embedded in the HTML file and will not appear on the address bar of a web browser. Since the affiliate link is also encrypted, it can’t be viewed via View Source function of a web browser. You may then publish this HTML file to your website.

By directing your prospective customers straight to a particular product dramatically improves your chances of making the sale.

Clean URL will generate a web page (in HTML format) that will show a clean URL (without any affiliate link) on the address bar of a web browser. Your affiliate link is embedded in the HTML file and therefore will not appear on the address bar. Since the affiliate link is also encrypted, it can’t be viewed via View Source function of a web browser. You may then publish the HTML page to your website.

Instead of using original affiliate links like:

http://www.wonderfulproduct.com/youraffilliateid

you can redirect your prospective customers to links like:

http://www.wonderfulproduct.com

and at the same time tag your visitor’s computer with your affiliate ID.

Your affiliate link will be probably and securely cloaked and protected from prying eyes. If link-hijackers and link-bypassers can’t see your affiliate link they can’t change it to their own and take away your affiliate commission.

In short, this tool protects your affiliate income from being ripped off by link-hijackers and link-bypassers.
